CLOUD

I was given a space to create a sculpture in a disused industrial nursery.

I wanted to use materials that reflected this, so I chose an insect net. It looked like a cloud resting on the ground, and so I suspended it. I used a haze machine to interact with the moving sculpture to animate it, softening the shape with vapour.
